Epic Pass

The Epic Pass Local is one of the more popular ski pass options for students at the University of Denver. At a relatively low rate, you can buy a ski pass that gives you unlimited access (except for blackout days) to Keystone, Breckenridge, and Arapahoe Basin. Additionally, Epic Pass Local provides 10 days between Vail and Beaver Creek Resorts as well as access to several other ski resorts in the United States and abroad. You can buy the Epic Pass through DU Alpine Club. Epic Ski passes are sold on campus during the spring and fall & online (see below). Look out for the DU Alpine Club and ask about how to get your Epic Pass. Non-students (including parents) are also eligible to purchase passes through the club.
While there is no discount for purchasing through us, we would love the support by purchasing through the club in person or using the link provided on this page. Your support helps us continue to be able to sell passes directly to students instead of through non-DU representatives.
*Quick tip: Want to save some cash? If you are 18 years old or younger at the time of purchase, you can buy an Epic Local Teen Pass (cheaper than the college pass rate).
How to Purchase:
#1 Online
#2 With an Alpine Club officer

Ski Bus

Wondering how to get to Epic Pass ski areas? Established in 2016 and debuted in Winter 2017, the DU Alpine Club offers transportation to Epic Pass Local ski resorts during winter and early spring quarter. A charter bus will take you from campus to one of the Epic Pass Ski Resorts located off of I-70 (offered in previous years include Keystone, Arapahoe Basin, Breckenridge, Vail, and Beaver Creek).
The cost for a seat on the bus is $10 for DUAC members/$15 for non-members, which covers your transportation to and from the ski resort. The charter bus leaves early in the morning (usually around 5:45am or 6:45am) and returns after a full day of skiing, leaving the slopes around 4:00pm. At least 1 DUAC Officer will be on the bus and at the resort to make sure everything runs smoothly.

- Students are responsible for their lift tickets (this is why getting an Epic Pass is awesome), food, equipment, and any other needs.
- Registration for the ski bus is online (just like any other trip) and is first come, first serve.
- Popular locations (like Vail & Beaver Creek) typically sell out quickly.
- No refunds or transfers of registrations will be permitted, regardless of reason. If you register for a ski bus trip and can no longer go, please help out your fellow classmates and email us so we can fill your seat with someone on the wait list so we have a full bus!
- Exception: Should a bus not run due to low registration numbers, a full refund will be provided.
